Crow Ted Talk

This is probably my favorite animal video. I highly encourage everyone to watch. Joshua Klein talks about teaching crows to pick up garbage in exchange for food. A simple idea that could make a big change. I love this idea because it shows us a way to interact with another species where both parties benefit. If this were put into practice, two issues would be solved: (1) we would have less garbage on the street, and (2) people would stop seeing crow as pests and start caring for them. So many times all we need to do to save a species is just to change society's perspective. If we can influence them into not thinking a species is not a pest or even showing a benefit it will drastically cut down on unnecessary killing and people will sometimes even go out of their way to help.
